Zeta Kappa Chapter
K-8 Virtual Student Book Drive
Overview
The Virtual Student Book Drive, sponsored by the Zeta Kappa Chapter, is an initiative aimed at increasing access to diverse books for K-8 students. This effort aligns with Read Across America Week, which takes place annually during the first week of March (3/2-3/6, 2025). Through this program, the Zeta Kappa Chapter collects and donates books written by and about Black and Brown authors and characters, promoting representation and inclusivity in children's literature. Using Amazon Wishlist as a tool to collect donations, the drive supports schools and local communities by providing culturally relevant books that inspire young readers and fosters a love for reading. This initiative reflects the Zeta Kappa Chapter’s commitment to literacy, education, and diversity in storytelling, making a meaningful impact during Read Across America Week. Please click on the Amazon Wishlist button to donate to our book drive.
